A quasi unitarity bound on the radion mass in the Randall-Sundrum model

In this paper we derive a quasi unitarity bound on the radion mass (mφ) from the process hh → φφ. We find that at sufficiently high energies (i.e. when s ≫ mh, mφ) the J=0 partial wave amplitude for the above process violates unitarity if mφ > m 2 h+16π〈φ〉. In this paper we derive an upper bound on the mass of the Randall-Sundrum radion by imposing the unitarity condition on the tree level amplitude for the process W L W − L → hφ.
